was in Bangkok from 3rd to 7th March 2008 (yes, i'm so good in putting things in halt hehe). well. please don't get me wrong. after ten weeks, i guess now is fair enough to go back and flip through those photos and recall the memories. and share.

for the love of backpacking and all things spontaneous, i present my humble collections.

i left everything behind. at least i can breathe now.

this is around Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, 5 March 2008.

so this is it. the end of my Bangkok series. i came back from Bangkok dead broke, and well burnt. but at least i came back satisfied, i came back fresh, and after ten weeks, i still am.

:)

p.s.:
zam zarina, aida rohayu and kekusha, thanks for being there all the times.
it's because of yous that i actually flew off anyways. i'm so tragic.
and mak, thanks for permitting me doing it again. *wink*

if only building it is as effortless as destroying it...

Most of these are in Bangkok, some are in Ayutthaya.

never mind tough journeys. as long as what i get at the end is worth it.

5 March 2008
that morning, i woke up at 4.30. caught a bus at 5.40.
a bus that made me feel like being in a pre-Merdeka period.
on a two and a half hour journey.

for these.

i guess it was worth it.

Bangkok is a paradox

3 to 7 March 2008
the intensity of Bangkok almost suffocated me the day i arrived. yet, it's the intensity that kept me alive all along.

this is Thailand, in essence.

please leave me alone, I can’t stand this chaos.

3 March 2008
This was as I walked in a backstreet of Bangkok, where I bumped into a Muay Thai training gym. Guy in blue pants was a trainee.

Last piece of photo I took before my Kit Lens went mad (on my FIRST day there, thank you). Zam's camera & Donat's lens saved my life BIG TIME. Thanks jackjack & danot :D
